Photo Challenge: Elemental

For this photo challenge you will capture between one and four elements. You can do it as a single photo, a diptych, or a triptych, or even a four-panel image. There are examples of all of them in the above link.

this week’s photo challenge: flash fiction, the picture

You knew it was coming, you knew it was a possibility, but now it is a reality!

For this photo challenge, you will review the final draft of your flash fiction story, and pick out one image that stands out in your piece. Choose a sentence or phrase that has a lot of imagery in it, and then re-create that image. You will then Photoshop the phrase or sentence from your piece onto the image.

For this assignment, you will need to ‘plan out’ your shot. Create the image in your mind first. What props will you need? Will you shoot this at home or at school? Is a trip to Goodwill or Dollar Tree in order to purchase props to use for this photo. We want to pull out all the stops for this one, we want to create a masterpiece, from our own imaginations, from our own fiction.

This assignment will be due on April 21st, 2010. This means you have over Spring Break to work on it!!

Photographer of the Day: Ansel Adams

A man to whom many describe as the “The Most Famous Photographer of All Time.”
