Journal Entry of the Week, Week 16

On fast food and what we are leaving behind:

History always repeats itself. By studying what happened in our past, we are able to avoid the mistakes our ancestors have made and by studying what’s left behind we are able to see what was important and relevant to a civilization.
I think we should be ashamed of what we’re leaving behind. Instead of finding great works of writing and pottery and art, archeologists in the future are going to find remains of fast food wrappers and garbage. So what does that say about us? What are we going to be seen as?
