Setting EOS Cameras to Shoot in Raw Mode

So yesterday I went and dropped an atomic bomb of a concept on you guys when I wasn’t even here.

The main point I wanted to make yesterday is that we will be shooting primarily in the RAW format in the class. The possibilities of what you can do by shooting in the RAW mode format compared to the old JPEG format are immense.

So here’s the deal: you have to have the camera in the M mode, the TV mode, or the AV mode, basically any mode but the Auto mode (green square )

Once you have the camera in a non-auto mode, follow the directions below to put it into the raw mode. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE MODE BACK TO “L” WHEN YOU ARE DONE.
