photographer of the day: 03/20: scott jackson

The work of Scott Jackson reads like a novel, or a character-driven film where the protagonist is trapped by the landscape they inhabit. I feel this way when I look at his work, a visual struggle to break out of the oppressive surroundings around us. A sense of forboding, waiting for something bad to happen, and that color is a brief glimpse of hope that escape offers.

You can view more of his stuff here.

I absolutely love the picture of the trees. The colors of the trees are sooo pretty. Especially with the grass. Its a good mixture. i like it a lot. Im just waiting for someone or something creepy to pop out of the corner.
