Thank you all for your comments, they are really appreciated, as you provide additional insight for me about the photographs that I create and the responses that they evoke.

These photographs are from three different projects, “In Passing” (the roadside memorials/folk art about sudden tragedy and unexpected loss), “Insomnia; Hotel Noir” (about disassociation and lonelyness) and “Re:Development” (environmental and social changes).

You can find out much more about these photographs and my other work on my personal blog Singular Images at http://www.singularimages.wordpress.com such as you can read about how and why I created the “ghost in the bed”.

    Best regards, Doug Stockdale

My favorite photo is the triptych type photo with the three pictures in one. i love when people combine them and they all have to do with the same thing. With his however I love how they each have a different color scheme to them. it makes the picture stand out!

My favorite photo of his is the one with the three photos all in one. Cause not only is there a variety to look at but all three pictures are very interesting to look at.

My favorite picture is the lady on the bed. I like how we don’t really know if she is rocking back and forth and taken with a slow shutter speed or if she is a ghost.
