This Week’s Photo Challenge: Emotion Revisited

Ilya Balan

So, in Photo One, you had to take a picture of a specifc emotion. For this challenge, though, you will take an extremely emotional picture. A photo that someone will have an emotional reaction to. A photo that depicts a dramatic, emotional event or moment.

cody calhoon

It could be a father saying goodbye to a son going to war, it could be a Mom who has to tell her family that she is losing her job.

Either way, I don’t want “love” in any of these pictures. That’s not to say you can’t show people experiencing love in a certain way, but I don’t want the theme to be as simple as that. Maybe the title is how a family pulls together after a great crisis. For this assignment, use this as an opportunity to tell us a story, to let is in on a world we don’t really know.

For this photo you will not photoshop the emotion onto the image, but you will be giving the image a title. Make that title be the file name of your image.

Addition: You will turn in three images, in a folder, and tell me which one is your favorite.

lastname_title_1.jpg – this is your first choice.

lastname_title_2.jpg – this is your second choice

lastname_title_3.jpg- this is your third choice

folder: period_firstname_lastname_title

due date: May 5th, 2010
